La Quinta Art Celebration

La Quinta Art Celebration Returns to The Valley
November 10 – 13, 2022

Good news, the La Quinta Art Celebration returns with new dates.  The 4 day Art Event will be held November 10 – 13 at the La Quinta Civic Center Campus and Park.

This is the first ENCORE presentation of the La Quinta Art Celebration.  Last November, was the postponed March 2021 Celebration due to COVID-19. It was a big hit and so well received, they’re doing an ENCORE!

Although the La Quinta Art Celebration is not affiliated with the La Quinta Art Foundation or Festival, as patrons – we can now celebrate art twice a year in the Desert during March and November!

Over two hundred artists from around the United States and abroad come to showcase their talents in the #1 Fine Art & Fine Craft Art Event in the Nation.  Stroll through the La Quinta Civic Center Campus to enjoy an afternoon of Art, Food and Wine and Live Music.

TOOLS FOR TOMORROW ART AND THEATER PROGRAMS

A portion of the proceeds from the La Quinta Art Celebration supports “Tools for Tomorrow“, a free, after-school and online arts literacy program integrating Creative Writing, Art, Music and Theater for children ages eight to eleven.

During and after the pandemic, Tools for Tomorrow  integrated their arts and theater programs online.  They trained their teachers to teach online through UCL Arts&Healing – Social and Emotional Arts on a Shoestring program.  In the Fall of 2020, TFT offered 14 online programs including a theatre program with Zoom, through our host schools. More than 330 students registered for TFT programs during the 2020/2021 school year.

Children were able to connect with their classmates, make new friends and share their concerns.  Teaching Artists made sure each child was seen and heard.  Teachers got to know their students on a new level.  Siblings joined the online classes, parents popped in and out to meet the teachers and express their gratitude.

This year they have students attending from 24 of the elementary schools in the Coachella Valley, and from all three Unified School Districts: Desert Sands, Palm Springs and Coachella Valley.

Your support through the La Quinta Art Celebration, Tools for Tomorrow is giving students an opportunity to learn about the arts and express themselves creatively in a safe environment. TFT students benefit from the development of academic and personal life skills, increased self-confidence, positive social networks, and a desire for continued involvement with the Arts making a difference in the lives of  students and their families in the Coachella Valley.

While you’re in the Desert, you won’t want to miss this Exceptional Estate in Tradition Golf Club  with expansive Mountain Vistas.
