Kennel Club of Palm Springs Dog Show, tthe largest dog show West of the Mississippi, also known as the New Year Classic. This AKC Licensed All Breed Dog Shows, Obedience and Rally Trials are don’t miss events for dog lovers.
The first weekend of January every year, Dogs and their owners and handlers from across the country head for the Empire Polo Grounds to strut their stuff at the Dog Show.
The 40 acre venue at the Empire Polo Grounds is a perfectly manicured venue with panoramic views, great weather and….. a lot of dogs, of all shapes and sizes. At last count, over 3,400 dogs were registered to attend.
This show was organized in 1978 to educate members and the general public about purebred dogs and promote sportsman-like competition at the events.
