2017 Palm Springs International Film Festival

The Palm Springs International Film Festival is the best in World Cinema. More than 136,000 enthusiastic film-goers will attend this year’s events. Beginning Monday, January 2nd with the Film Awards Gala at the Palm Springs Convention Center. An evening of style and glitz. No need work all day and night looking for a new home in Palm Desert!  Have some fun too!  This 14-day event will run through January 16th and marks the start of a new season in the desert. Hollywood stars light up the red carpet honoring the year’s best performances both in front and behind the camera. Some of the special event features include Book to Screen, a two-day event including film screenings and symposium with conversations with writers and screenwriters. Dinner and a Movie, two movies paired with local culinary stars. Talking Pictures, engage directly with filmmakers and hear their insights. Parties galore, after a day of screenings the festivities continue with after parties at designated local restaurants, bar’s, and hotels.
